We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager – Environmental Software (SaaS) to drive growth for our client’s specialist SaaS platform supporting waste acceptance, soil analysis and geotechnical assessment. This role will own the full sales cycle, develop pricing/licensing strategies, deliver tailored demos, and act as the voice of the customer to influence future product development. Ideal for a consultative seller with experience in environmental software or technical SaaS solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Own the sales lifecycle: lead generation, demos, proposals, negotiation and close
Build, manage, and nurture a pipeline of potential customers, focusing on developing and maintaining strong account relationships to maximise long-term value
Develop scalable pricing and licensing strategies to support SaaS growth
Act as customer advocate to inform product enhancements and roadmap priorities
Monitor competitor offerings and support go-to-market strategies for new features
Drive onboarding and adoption to maximise customer retention and expansion
Requirements:
Proven B2B SaaS/software sales experience into technical or regulated sectors (environmental, waste, construction)
Strong ability to deliver engaging product demonstrations to technical and non-technical audiences
Commercial acumen in pricing, licensing and recurring revenue models
Experience influencing product roadmap through customer feedback
Self-motivated, consultative approach with excellent relationship-building skills
