Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking for a fantastic opportunity to become part of something great? We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and outgoing BDM to support our clients ambitious plans for growth and assist in proactively developing new business. It is likely that you will already be working within the industry in a similar role. We are looking for someone who is resourceful and energetic, who has self-motivation with the hunger to identify and approach new customers. In a challenging market, your achievements could be generously rewarded!

Job Responsibility:

  • Generating leads by cold calling prospective customers
  • Identifying target markets and developing opportunities
  • Seeking out the relevant person in a company to approach
  • To geographically work within the sales team, attending face to face meetings, to cover England with current business
  • Create a sales pipeline
  • To work at uncovering opportunities and closing them down
  • To achieve sales in the first year of £800,000 rising to £1m in the second year

Requirements:

  • Experienced Business Development Manager
  • Likely already working within the industry in a similar role
  • Resourceful and energetic
  • Self-motivation with the hunger to identify and approach new customers
  • Charismatic and persuasive character with excellent communication skills
  • Desire to win
  • Ideally from a commercial catering background

Nice to have:

Consideration will be given to candidates from other backgrounds
