Business Development Leader

• Coordinate business development efforts with marketing activities of principals, discipline leaders, project managers and other staff members
• Organizes plans, schedules, and manages sales efforts for area of responsibility
• Assists in the development and execution of marketing and business plans that support the firm’s overall strategic plan
• Seeks out opportunities and actively engage potential, existing, and past clients to uncover project opportunities
• Develop long-term client relationships and maintain strong business networks
• Reports on planned and executed sales activities to appropriate members of firm leadership team
• Participate in the weekly Business development meeting
• Participate in quarterly Practice Area meetings
• Participates in Studio meetings as they occur
• Reports to Director of Business Development & Marketing

• Associate level or above in firm
• Broad understanding of the area in which position is marketing and representing the firm
• Knowledge of marketing techniques and supporting skills, including verbal and written communications, public and client relations
• Working knowledge of geographic area or related fields that this position represents
• Is willing and able to support overall firm initiatives at the studio level
• Promote a culture of collaboration and inclusion as a part of the overall firm EDI initiative
