The Business Development role is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies for the federal sector, including business planning, client relationship management, lead generation and pursuit management, and project oversight. This position requires an exceptional leader with experience in architecture / engineering, infrastructure development, and operational management, ideally with a background in complex projects such as those found in the military or federal government environments.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients
Act as a trusted advisor to clients
Collaborate with technical teams to provide project oversight
Monitor account financial performance
Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, business administration, or a related field required
15+ years of experience in military, government, or other related industries
Experience working with cross-functional teams and delivering results in dynamic, high-pressure environments
Expertise in client relationship management, contract negotiation, and business development
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with government contracting processes and regulations
Nice to have:
Technical expertise in facilities engineering, environmental science, or infrastructure development
Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
Experience with managing military construction (MILCON) projects, infrastructure recapitalization programs, or disaster recovery efforts
Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, USAF and U.S./NATO defense contractors
