Job Description:

Business Development Executive role at Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, driving growth by creating new opportunities, building networks, and turning conversations into commercial success. Part of Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, working with global hotel brands.

Job Responsibility:

Seek out and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, and MICE segments
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and partners
Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and client meetings
Work closely with marketing and operations to deliver compelling proposals and campaigns
Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity
Keep senior leadership informed with regular reports on pipeline and performance

Requirements:

Proven experience in business development or sales
Experience ideally within hospitality or a service-led industry
Confidence in communication, negotiation, and presentation
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Team player who collaborates across departments
Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
