Our client, a well-established transport and logistics provider, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join their team in Brisbane. This is a pure hunting role focused on driving revenue growth through a strategic and proactive new customer acquisition strategy.
Job Responsibility
New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and close new commercial opportunities. You will be responsible for meeting daily outbound call targets and executing sales campaigns
Strategic Planning: Partner with the Sales Manager to develop and execute weekly strategic plans to hit and exceed revenue targets
Client Integration: Seamlessly onboard new clients into internal systems, ensuring all initial KPIs and service level agreements are fully established
Account Administration: Maintain accurate CRM data, update prospect information, complete regular sales reporting, and conduct competitor analysis
Internal Liaison: Work closely with internal staff and operational contractors to resolve customer issues during the onboarding phase
Workplace Health & Safety: Adhere to company WHS procedures, ensuring timely reporting of hazards and incidents
Requirements
Proven Sales Hunter: Demonstrated track record in B2B new business acquisition, prospecting, and closing deals
KPI-Driven: Comfortable managing high-activity sales metrics, including daily outbound call targets and structured pipelines
Strategic Capability: Ability to plan out weekly sales activities rather than relying on a reactive approach
Strong Communicator: Polished verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal operations and external stakeholders
Industry Background: Prior experience within transport, freight, courier, or logistics sectors is highly regarded
