As a Business Development Executive at Carbiz, you will be responsible for building and fostering strategic relationships with our prospective clients and stakeholders within the Adelaide region. Job Responsibility:
Work with the Business Development Manager to identify, target, and develop new relationships within your allocated geographical area
Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with clients within your region
Inform and educate referrers on initiatives, procedures, and points of difference
Log detailed activity, visits, and relevant commentary to ensure accurate reporting and review of business
Oversee new client onboarding and facilitate seamless cross‑department collaboration to transition partners and referred customers
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate new business opportunities
Requirements:
Proven experience in face-to-face/field-based Sales, Account Management or Business Development preferred but not essential
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as required (Essential)
Proven experience fostering long-term relationships and service with customers and/or clients
Excellent interpersonal and partnership-building skills
Well-developed verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to assist team members to ensure excellent customer service delivery
