The position of Business Development Executive plays a key role in supporting the Senior Business Development Manager in driving Charter revenue growth for TAG Aviation. The role focuses on expanding the direct client portfolio, developing new business opportunities, and consistently exceeding agreed revenue targets and KPIs.
Job Responsibility:
Charter Sales & Business Development: Use proven historical tactics to identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners within charter sales and support the Senior Business Development Manager.
Research: Take time to look at industries and markets and qualify prospective clients to target. Execute cold/warm sales calls to set up face to face meetings for the BD team to increase TAG Commercial sales, whilst logging your work on the CRM tool provided.
Market Appraisals: Compile aircraft options and present these to the client in an informative and knowledgeable manner providing recommendation
Performance Monitoring: Exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure successful revenue generation.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategic initiatives
Innovation: Identify and implement best practices to drive efficiency. To represent TAG externally at industry functions to promote and raise the TAG reputation and brand. Periodically review work processes and service levels. Identify opportunities for strategic alliances, partnerships with channel partners and new events to raise the profile of TAG in respect to Charter.
Trip Set Up: Ensuring charter flights are set up correctly, invoiced, slots confirmed, and briefs sent to client, following up with the operator as required and following the trip as it happens.
Requirements:
Good geographical knowledge
Good level of spoken and written English
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
1-2 years minimum proven experience in a business development role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and time management skills.

Understanding of procurement and negotiations practices
Numerical understanding of the charter marketplace and the products in competition with TAG
