This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join a progressive company that invests in its people and recognises achievement. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth across County Durham and beyond. This B2B sales position involves managing existing client accounts while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will focus on building long-term customer relationships, uncovering new market potential, and delivering a seamless customer experience from initial enquiry through to order fulfilment.
Job Responsibility:
Researching and developing new market sectors to generate B2B sales opportunities
Making outbound sales calls and following up on inbound and warm leads
Delivering outstanding customer service to both prospective and existing clients
Preparing accurate quotations and processing customer orders
Handling proformas, invoices, and general account enquiries
Coordinating with production and dispatch teams to ensure on-time delivery
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
Achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Distributing marketing materials and arranging replacement parts when required
Requirements:
Demonstrable success within a B2B sales or Business Development role
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with a proactive and positive mindset
Excellent organisation and time management abilities
Passionate about delivering exceptional service and achieving sales growth
