We're working with a well-established and growing UK food ingredients business that supplies the independent food processing sector to appoint a Business Development Executive for the North East. This is a hands-on, field-based role offering real autonomy, clear ownership of your territory and the opportunity to build long-term, meaningful customer relationships.
Job Responsibility
Own and develop your regional sales territory
Identify and convert new customers within the independent meat and food sector
Build strong, long-term relationships through regular customer visits
Present, demonstrate and sample specialist ingredient products
Grow existing accounts through upselling and seasonal ranges
Act as a regional ambassador for the business
Requirements
Experience in field sales or business development
Relationship-led sales environment
Structured, commercial approach to managing a territory
Comfortable working independently and managing own diary
Full UK driving licence
