As a Business Development Executive, your primary focus will be to drive the growth and adoption of the company’s comprehensive commerce platform. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from generating prospects to closing deals, and building lasting relationships with clients and partners.
Job Responsibility
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting and leveraging existing contacts
Lead consultative sales engagements involving multiple stakeholders across technology, operations, finance, and senior leadership
Prepare and present tailored proposals, including RFP responses, value propositions, and ROI analyses
Support and execute partner-led sales initiatives with ISVs, acquirers, financial institutions, and ISOs
Collaborate with internal teams—solutions engineering, product, and implementation—to facilitate the sales process and ensure client needs are met
Identify opportunities for account expansion through ongoing relationship management
Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitive activity to refine sales strategies
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and adhere to disciplined opportunity management practices
Requirements
7-10 years of experience in B2B software, payments, or FinTech sales, particularly with complex solutions involving multiple locations and multiple stakeholders
Proven success in selling directly to merchants as well as through strategic partnerships with ISVs, acquirers, or financial institutions
Strong skills in managing the entire sales process, including RFPs, security assessments, and ROI development
Existing relationships with enterprise merchants are advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of operating independently in an entrepreneurial environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
knowledge of eCommerce and digital payment platforms is a plus
Willingness to travel as required
