Our client is a leading High Voltage Electrical Engineering Company offering a complete service for your existing networks and utility connections. They are looking to recruit a Business Development Director to progress the business to the next stages in their planned growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Report directly to the UK Managing Director
  • Focus on Renewable Projects and Private Networks
  • Manage a small team of dedicated Business Development managers and mentor when required
  • Develop and implement the strategy for growth
  • Have significant input on the bidding of suitable projects
  • Identify a pipeline of opportunities, developing the appropriate client, partner and supplier relationships
  • Have input on all company marketing

Requirements:

  • Background in the UK power sector
  • Business connections with both consultants and sub-contractors
  • Commercially astute
