Job Description

Part of the Income and Partnerships team, the Business Development, Corporate Partnerships is a rewarding and diverse role at Migrant Help. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value, long-term corporate partnerships. In this role, managing new business will be critical in driving new income, building strategic relationships, and funding multi-year programmes through a range of partnership models including fundraising, commercial collaboration, gifts-in-kind, social value initiatives, and even crypto giving. Our corporate partnerships already generate multiple six-figure contributions annually, and we're on a mission to deliver an ambitious five-year growth strategy. Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager, Corporate Partnerships to generate new income from UK-based corporate partnerships
  • Deliver an annual income target of £100k+ through new business development
  • Develop a robust pipeline of corporate prospects with a strong alignment to our mission and values
  • Create compelling new business propositions for a variety of projects and programmes
  • Lead and support on delivering engaging and persuasive corporate pitches
  • Identify sponsorship opportunities for events and campaigns
  • Negotiate and manage formal fundraising partnership and commercial participation agreements, ensuring full compliance with fundraising regulations, including conducting due diligence to assess risks and rewards, and ensuring that all partnerships are secured with a supporting fundraising contract
  • Ensure all partnerships are formed in compliance with Fundraising Regulator guidelines, GDPR, VAT, and other relevant legal frameworks
  • Ensure all partnership activity and new business pipeline is managed and recorded on the Microsoft 365 CRM system including overseeing donations from Justgiving, Benevity and Giving Block fundraising platforms
  • Support wider team goals and respond flexibly to evolving organisational needs

Requirements

  • Passionate corporate partnerships fundraiser with experience of building relationships and developing income generating opportunities
  • Previous experience working in the commercial sector / or charity sector or relevant experience / transferable skills gained in similar fields such as sales, marketing, CSR, social value
  • Good research skills and ability to analyse information gathered to produce proposals
  • Pro-active and uses own initiative with commitment and determination to ensure the charity's income growth ambition
