The Business & Community Development Department is recruiting for a Business Development Coordinator to join their team for a term starting as soon as possibile and ending on or before August 28, 2026. This is an onsite position located at Keyano College, Clearwater Campus.
Job Responsibility
Manage and develop new and existing customer relationships through contract execution
Assist in creating a demand for Keyano College training solutions by establishing and maintaining relationships, as well as fostering collaborations and partnerships
Build budgets and proposals to address clients' needs
Collaborate with industry, indigenous groups, government, unions, labor organizations, social profits, and the general public to identify and respond to training needs within the region
Work closely with the Keyano College marketing department to implement multi-faceted marketing strategies for the Corporate Training Department
Assist to develop, initiate, and schedule plans to promote community and industry awareness of corporate education programs and courses
Provides administrative coordination for on campus business relationships, serving as a liaison with leaseholders and working collaboratively with Finance and Facilities to support contract administration, space use, and operational requirements
Requirements
Post-secondary Degree in Business or other relevant fields of study
3 years of post-secondary education experience or relevant business experience
Self-directed and goal-oriented
Exhibit professionalism and sound judgment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Be able to proactively develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers
Class 5 Driver’s license is required
Marketing knowledge with excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong business sense and well-developed sales skills
Experience in Education and Training is considered an asset
Directly related experience with the development of proposals and business plans
