We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting sales initiatives, ensuring opportunities are effectively tracked, coordinated, and advanced through the sales process. This position offers a chance to collaborate with key stakeholders, manage inbound and outbound sales activities, and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records in the CRM system, ensuring real-time visibility of opportunities
Track and manage opportunities through established sales stages, logging meetings, calls, and next steps
Assist with drafting and coordinating proposals by gathering input from subject matter experts and managers
Monitor internal deadlines and follow up to ensure deliverables are completed on time, escalating issues as necessary
Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries and schedule meetings for the Business Development team and leadership
Support outbound prospecting efforts by refining outreach lists and tracking activity metrics
Research municipal and industry sources to identify potential leads and early indicators of upcoming projects
Help prepare for and staff industry events, including trade shows and networking opportunities
Provide weekly pipeline reports to leadership, highlighting stalled opportunities and areas needing attention
Ensure timely follow-up on proposals and maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the sales process
Requirements:
Experience with CRM systems or similar tools for prospecting and client tracking
Background in construction, engineering, architecture, or related industries is highly desired
Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear and detail-oriented communication
Previous experience in sales support, client management, or administrative roles related to sales
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Proficiency in both inbound and outbound sales activities, including lead generation and follow-up
Willingness to attend in-state trade shows and networking events as needed
