Carex is partnering with a Mental Health industry partner to hire a Business Development/Clinician Liaison to help grow and maintain referral relationships in the Seattle, WA market – and will also support Portland, OR. This hybrid role involves approximately 70% in-field work and 30% virtual engagement. The Clinician Liaison will serve as the face of the clinical team, fostering strong connections with physicians, care coordinators, and referral sources to ensure seamless access to care and increased patient volume. The position requires a highly motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a dynamic, healthcare-focused environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with primary care providers, specialists, hospital discharge planners, and referral coordinators
  • Execute a high-impact outreach plan through in-person visits and virtual engagements to increase patient referrals
  • Serve as an expert on clinical services offered and patient populations served to guide referring providers effectively
  • Coordinate with local operational teams to increase visibility and engagement with referring practices
  • Facilitate educational sessions and clinician-to-clinician meetings to enhance collaboration and continuity of care
  • Represent the partner organization at local events and conferences to increase brand awareness and network expansion
  • Use Salesforce daily to track visits, document outcomes, and manage your referral portfolio
  • Operate with integrity and in compliance with all organizational policies and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, ideally in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Strong organizational skills with a goal-driven and self-motivated approach
  • Comfort analyzing data to prioritize activities and drive strategy
  • Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with the ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations
