We are hiring a Business Development Associate to help our Corporate Sales team engage new clients. Our newest Business Development Associate will identify prospective opportunities and utilize a number of communication methods to begin a sales engagement, as well as qualify inbound sales leads/opportunities and follow up with marketing-qualified opportunities. The Business Development Associate career progression is a path toward being a Sales Associate, and then a Sales Executive focused on bringing on and engaging new business.
Job Responsibility:
Identify prospective opportunities and utilize a number of communication methods to begin a sales engagement
Qualify inbound sales leads/opportunities and follow up with marketing-qualified opportunities
Develop creative outbound sales skills by leveraging various communication methods, including cold calling, cold emailing, direct mail, and more
Work with Product, Sales, C-level stakeholders, and Strategy professionals
Collaborate with Marketing to optimize the opportunity conversion process
Map out organizational structures of leading Brands and Retailers to identify prospective users
Develop skills across a broad range of sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Asana, and others
Requirements:
Experience as an SDR (either in an internship or full-time role) and a strong desire to be in sales
Passionate about contributing to the future of data-driven solutions for Brands and Retailers
Excited by understanding the needs of Brands and Retailers
Creative and like to think of different ways to engage prospects
Empathetic and have strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Have a positive outlook
Resourceful and excited to learn
Have sound judgment when handling new situations
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Will not require employer-based sponsorship for immigration-related employment benefit(s) or visa status now or in the future
