The team is looking for a Business Development Associate to further develop our business with major Corporate clients in Australia. The Associate will be responsible for assisting in building a pipeline of prospects across a variety of industries. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who wants to learn more about the corporate sector and make a significant contribution to our business model.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads and help source new business opportunities
Partner with senior sales team members schedule meetings with new prospects, set up meetings with existing strategic accounts to identify growth and cross selling opportunities, and manage client feedback calls
Meet designated prospecting and meeting targets through cold calling and other lead generation efforts
Assist in the development of marketing materials and client presentations
Develop a working knowledge of the primary research methods, the competitor landscape, and the general business acumen
Requirements:
Recognised Bachelor's degree
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients across different industry sectors
Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere that is both fast-paced as well as results-oriented
Desire to work in a sales/ lead generation role that is KPI and metrics-driven
