As a Business Development Associate, you will leverage your sales experience by communicating effectively, utilizing software to track leads, set appointments, and contribute to the success of TAG, while growing your own book of business.
Job Responsibility:
Setting appointments almost exclusively via outbound calls utilizing software's like Salesforce or ZoomInfo
Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics ensuring that all business development activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner
Identifying and developing new business opportunities
Working closely with the Sr. Director, Sales Development and Operations and larger sales team to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the progress of the sales team
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year inside sales experience
2-3 years preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Experience in business-to-business telemarketing/appointment setting
Experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesloft (or similar sales engagement software) and with contact databases like ZoomInfo highly preferred
Strong work ethic and consistent sales activity
Ability to focus on setting appointments, solely
Ability to work through company phone systems and gate keepers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic skills in Microsoft Office required
High School Diploma or GED required
Must reside in the State of Texas
