Job Description:

The Hearings Business Development Team is responsible for new business and nurturing existing client relationships. The team will typically be the first port of call for new Hearings instructions and will liaise with clients from the initial enquiry until the point of signature, after which the case is handed over to the operational teams. Client meetings and software demonstrations are a key part of the team’s day-to-day activity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Liaising with clients to educate them on the advantages of using our Hearings solution and the value proposition
  • Responding to inbound enquiries and converting leads to opportunities using a consultative approach
  • Nurturing client relationships and helping to drive customer success and account management initiatives
  • Regular client contact over the telephone, email and in person
  • Delivering engaging demos of the Opus 2 Hearings solution to legal teams, demonstrating a detailed understanding of our technology and its applicability to our clients and their use cases
  • Preparing tailored fee proposals reflecting client requirements
  • Working closely with the wider Business Development team, sharing knowledge and ideas to drive the achievement of our goals
  • Liaising effectively with the Client Services, Solution Operations, Technical Delivery and Marketing teams
  • Effective pipeline management, maintaining up-to-date Salesforce records

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and confident verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willing to learn and get stuck in, with a proactive and enthusiastic approach
  • Customer focused, interest in our clients and our role in the legal sector
  • Ability to juggle tasks under pressure and manage your time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Collaborative team player with a flexible attitude
  • Previous experience in a client facing or professional services role, within the legal sector is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to speak Cantonese and Mandarin as well as read/write Chinese would be a distinct advantage
