Job Description

Lead business development activities to increase/broaden sources of revenue while running day-to-day program operations for school-based STEAM programs; coordinate volunteers and instructors; maintain rosters and communications; and provide basic data for donor and grant reporting. This is an individual contributor role with no staff management responsibilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify, cultivate, and support revenue-generating partnerships with schools, community organizations, and youth-serving organizations
  • Support partnership activities, coordination requirements, and ongoing relationship management
  • Manage day-to-day operations at program sites, including student registrations, field trip coordination, and maintaining SharePoint sites and calendars
  • Coordinate volunteers and instructors by confirming coverage, sharing schedules and lesson logistics, and supporting onboarding requirements
  • Lead communication efforts with stakeholders, including families, school partners, donors, and other key stakeholders. Prepare program stories for donor communications
  • Plan and execute Family STEAM Night and other community events, including managing logistics, coordinating volunteers, and overseeing the event run of show

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in business development, partnership development, or revenue generating initiatives
  • 3 to 5 years of experience coordinating youth programs, school-based initiatives, or community focused events
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills with clear written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, including basic spreadsheet tracking and document management
