Job Description:

Are you a technical expert in agricultural machinery who thrives on building strategic partnerships? We are representing a global market leader and specialist in high-quality parts for industrial and agricultural equipment. Known for a culture of innovation, this company is looking for a proactive professional to bridge the gap between technical parts interpretation and field-based sales strategy. This isn't just about taking orders; it’s about providing high-level technical solutions that maximise productivity for agricultural partners across Australia.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify & Qualify: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within the agricultural sector
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic advice on fleet maintenance and parts inventories rather than just taking orders
  • Technical Problem Solving: Utilize electronic parts catalogues (EPC) to accurately identify components and find alternative solutions
  • Market Intelligence: Act as the 'voice of the customer' to report on machinery failures and gaps in the product range
  • Strategy Implementation: Work with the General Sales Manager to define and implement National Agri strategies and marketing actions
  • Relationship Management: Maintain a portfolio of existing customers while networking to improve the company's reputation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Parts Interpretation, Agricultural Sales, or Machinery Maintenance
  • A strong understanding of the Australian agricultural market
  • High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Results focus with a passion for sales and customer service
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively self-manage
What we offer:
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning and many in-house/external training courses
  • Recognition programs and incentives for your performance
  • Join a dynamic global company that is a leader in its field
  • A dedicated Health and Wellness program and a company commitment to sustainable growth
