The Partnership Developer will have a key role in screening, negotiating and managing new business accounts for the Powerdot team in Portugal. At the same time, the Business Developer will be supported by a central team which is 100% focused in constantly optimising business development and sales processes to help the individual maximise the success of its efforts. The Business Developer will report directly to the GM of Iberia. He will have a dynamic day-to-day life characterised by a multiplicity of functions of the greatest importance at the HQ level.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the end-to-end sales process: lead generation, prospecting, commercial proposal, definition of optimal client solutions, negotiation, contract signing
Lead contract negotiations with tier 1 partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and foster strong, collaborative relationships
Define acquisition targets by establishing a strategic plan
Qualify the base of business prospects and enrich it by sourcing the right contacts Prospecting: e-mailing, calls, telephone / video / physical appointments
Develop and manage business proposals creatively and conduct negotiations independently acquire new customers and business partners
Define and implement strategies to accelerate online and offline business development and coordinate with the rest of the Portuguese team to ensure the achievement of objectives within established timings
Stay updated on industry developments and product knowledge to enhance selling effectiveness
Requirements:
2 to 4 years of proven experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales – ideally in mobility, logistics, energy, or related sectors
Feel comfortable taking fast independent decisions on the spot and is not afraid to conduct an end-to-end sale over a phone call or in a business meeting
Strong motivation and tenacity in consistently closing deals to achieve sales targets
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership
Fluency in Portuguese and English
Capacity of representing the company in public
Availability to work on an hybrid system (1 day remote work)
