Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Property Managers, Facility Managers, General Contractors, and Commercial Clients
  • Generate new business opportunities focused on recurring property maintenance contracts
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for mechanical contracting, commercial tenant improvement, and general contracting services
  • Attend networking events, industry functions, walkthroughs, and client meetings throughout the Lower Mainland
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with internal project and operations teams
  • Prepare proposals and support the development of client solutions and service offerings
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Track opportunities, maintain pipeline visibility, and support business growth initiatives
  • Collaborate directly with ownership and leadership on strategic growth opportunities

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of Business Development experience within construction, property maintenance, mechanical contracting, or related subcontracting industries
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently generate and close new business opportunities
  • Self-starter mentality with a strong desire for professional and financial growth
  • Comfortable working in a highly client-facing and networking-driven environment
  • Previous experience selling maintenance contracts or subcontracting services is considered an asset
  • Strong organizational and pipeline management abilities
  • Valid Driver’s License required
