Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Business Data Analyst for an iconic Malaysian heritage FMCG brand. This is a high-visibility role sitting directly within the Strategy Office, bridging the gap between raw data and business decision-making. Join a world-renowned FMCG leader to drive excellence across their nationwide commercial functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Make sense of data from across the business — ranging from Sales and Commercial figures to operations, uncovering actionable insights
  • Design and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI, Sage, and Excel, visualizing complex data for senior leadership
  • Produce high-quality executive decks and reports to support the CEO office in strategic planning and ad-hoc analysis
  • Collaborate with HODs across departments to identify data gaps, unlock commercial opportunities, and drive business performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Business Management, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in data or business analysis, sales support, or related roles
  • Technical proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Knowledge of Sage or other analytics tools are an added advantage
  • A professional who understands 'Business vs. Data' — not just a number cruncher, but someone who understands the commercial context behind the trends
