Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to support and strengthen the s404 Centre of Excellence within the Group FinOps & Controls function. The individual will focus on ensuring robust compliance across Vodafone Group Markets through the development, monitoring, and review of business controls. This role requires close partnership with process owners, auditors, and global stakeholders to evaluate control design, test operational effectiveness, and uphold high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity across Finance operation

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct s404/SOX compliance testing across in‑scope Vodafone entities
  • Lead and deliver Quality Assurance reviews for IT SOX Control self‑attestations
  • Plan and manage the IT SOx cycle in alignment with Group methodology
  • Track audit engagements, observations, and remediation activities proactively
  • Collaborate with IT control owners on control design, testing, and improvements
  • Promote a strong control culture across markets and functions
  • Coordinate effectively with internal audit teams, external auditors, and global stakeholders
  • Support standardisation and continuous enhancement of the Group controls framework

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience leading IT SOx reviews and controls evaluation
  • Skilled in analysing risks in complex processes and applying best-practice control methodologies
  • Capable of making sound judgements and navigating unforeseen challenges
  • Strong in governance mindset, stakeholder management, and communication
  • Experienced in engaging senior stakeholders and liaising with external auditors
  • Professionally qualified as a Chartered Accountant or IT Engineer
  • CISA certification is advantageous
  • Possesses 8+ years of relevant experience in Audit, SOX Compliance, or Risk Management
  • Exposure to telecom environments or systems audit experience is beneficial
