Ready to play a key role in driving commercial performance in a truly global seafood business? As our new Business Controller, you will join the commercial finance team in Mowi Markets and work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and senior stakeholders across regions. You will act as a strategic partner to the business, reporting to the Finance Manager, ensuring our decisions are grounded in strong analysis, accurate data and a deep understanding of market and margin dynamics.
Job Responsibility:
Be responsible for monthly reporting
Analyze margin development, commercial KPIs, and pricing impacts across customers and markets
Provide structured, insight driven decision support to leadership, turning complex data into actionable recommendations
Support strategic initiatives, scenario modelling, business cases and long-term commercial planning
Strengthen financial governance, data quality, and adherence to internal policies
Collaborate closely with colleagues in Finance, Business Development, Supply Chain, Sales and global teams to align commercial and financial performance
Identify and drive improvements in tools, reporting processes, automation and use of analytics
Contribute to budgeting, annual plans and long-term plans
Requirements:
5–7+ years of experience in business controlling, commercial analysis, sales controlling, FP&A or similar roles
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate insights clearly
Experience with margin analysis and forecasting
Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
Ability to handle large and complex datasets with high accuracy and attention to detail
A proactive, independent and structured working style with strong ownership of deliverables
Excellent communication skills in English
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar fields
