We are strengthening our Controlling team with a Business Controller supporting our vibrant, global Sales and Marketing organization. In this role you will act as a financial partner to the organisation, overseeing cost management, ensuring accurate monthly closings and drive process improvement to enhance efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders globally and be a key player in the Business Controlling team.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing, proactively supporting the business with accurate and reliable financial processes
Own cost follow-up for your areas of responsibility and drive continuous improvement
Support financial processes including monthly and quarterly reporting, ensuring accurate accruals in accordance with company guidelines and timetable, budgets, forecasts and ad-hoc analysis
Be a key player in the Budget and Forecast process for your departments
Oversee and evaluate global marketing investments, ensuring spend aligns with financial budgets and strategic plans
Work to improve processes related to area of responsibility, as well as participating in controlling related projects
Requirements:
Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
2-3+ years of experience in a similar role or from audit, preferably in an international environment
Strong business mind with a solid accounting knowledge and an analytical mind as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to analyse, compare and interpret facts quickly with good understanding for numbers
Curious, proactive and motivated by improving processes and bringing financial rigor into environments with many moving parts
Confident and clear communicator who can translate financial insights into actionable guidance for senior stakeholders
Strong Excel capabilities paired with BI literacy, and an overall system-oriented mindset
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Nice to have:
Experience with Dynamics, Qlik and PowerBI is meriting
Experience working with Marketing investments in a global environment, ideally at the intersection of Marketing and Finance, is meriting
