Business Development role responsible to drive HPE Education & Packaged Services in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, such as corporate training, workshops, or e-learning solutions, to meet sales targets
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and clients. As well as internal stakeholders eg sales and business development from other business units
Analyse market trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs to develop, tailor, and promote educational programs
Lead, negotiate, and close deals through consultative sales approaches, including presentations and proposal development
Drive attach of education training and packaged services (platform, storage and network) across business units
Collaborate with internal teams to align training products with industry demands and regulatory requirements (e.g., WSQ/SSG)
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and revenue forecasts to management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Proven track record in business development, preferably 8+ years in selling digital learning, education technology, or training services
At least 5 years of experience as a training manager, business development specialist, or similar
Relevant professional certifications in education or training
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
Familiarity with corporate training, e-learning, and industry-specific certifications (e.g., ACTA, ACLP) is often preferred
Proficient in CRM systems and digital platforms for tracking and analysis
