Job Description

The mission of this role is also to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk methodologies, frameworks, and supporting tools for San Diego and Korea Manufacturing. The Business Compliance manager will build and maintain a strong and resilient business continuity management system that supports the organization’s goals and objectives, builds stakeholder trust, and ensures business continuity in the context of a continuously evolving threat landscape. The role oversees Risk Management, Business Continuity and IT Security, in alignment with ASML’s Risk, Business Assurance, and Security (RBA&S) department and Global Manufacturing Means and Methods.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk methodologies, frameworks, and supporting tools for San Diego and Korea Manufacturing
  • Build and maintain a strong and resilient business continuity management system
  • Oversee Risk Management, Business Continuity and IT Security
  • Assist Country RBA Lead to execute the regular country risk landscape update process
  • Monitor risk mitigation activities
  • Be responsible for delivery of prioritized commitments of primary RBA domains
  • Manage the preparation, execution and follow up of each project
  • Collaborate with cross functional and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Present and communicate well with stakeholders
  • Acts as a trusted business partner
  • Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes
  • Challenge management and provide constructive recommendations
  • Uncover issues or needs

  • Maintain communication with RBA&S Country Lead and GMF Security Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as business economics, risk management, technology, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a role with focus on risk or business continuity management, preferably in a large and complex organization
  • Ability to work independently and manage large, complex tasks, programs, or projects
  • Experience as a project or program manager in high-complexity environments is preferred
  • A deep understanding of business continuity challenges and a proven ability to advise, coach, and collaborate effectively
  • Experience in implementation and maintenance of Information Security Management System to meet ISO 27001 requirements
  • Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCI) is a plus
  • Experience managing teams and people
  • Solid business insight, strategic thinking, and data analysis capabilities
  • Competency in stakeholder management and risk communication
  • Ability to influence and coach across levels and sectors
  • Proficiency in policy development and the use of business continuity frameworks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Sensitive to organization maturity in relation to adoption of resilience concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Decisive personality, taking responsibility
  • Strong presentation and training skills
  • Senior leadership skills to influence stakeholders both within Manufacturing and across other ASML business functions
