Job Description

Business Change Lead - £600-£650 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working from a site in Central London, 2-3 days per week - 6 months initial contract. Our client, an organisation responsible for delivering one of the most significant nuclear new build programmes in the UK, is seeking an experienced Business Change Lead to drive adoption and value realisation across a major Digital & IT transformation portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Architecture and Business Change, you will shape and deliver the Business Change strategy, ensuring that organisational readiness, user adoption, and benefits realisation are fully embedded throughout the project lifecycle. This is a high-impact role, offering the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, oversee partner-delivered change, and ensure that digital initiatives translate into measurable business outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead business change workstreams across multiple digital and IT projects, ensuring alignment with technical delivery plans
  • Translate technical solution impacts into clear business change activities, ensuring user readiness and adoption
  • Deliver core change artefacts including impact assessments, stakeholder strategies, communications plans, and training approaches for system and platform implementations
  • Ensure Digital Business Cases define clear, measurable benefits and KPIs linked to technology adoption
  • Establish frameworks to track value realisation from digital investments
  • Monitor system adoption, usage, and performance, recommending interventions where benefits are at risk
  • Provide assurance of business change activities delivered by system integrators and digital delivery partners

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering business change across digital or IT-enabled transformation programmes
  • Strong understanding of how technology delivery lifecycles (e.g. system implementation, integration, deployment) impact business change
  • Experience driving user adoption of systems, platforms, or digital tools at scale
  • Ability to translate technical change into business impact and actionable change plans
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience overseeing partner-delivered change within system integrator-led environments
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Professional certification in Change Management (e.g. Prosci, APMG, CMI) or equivalent experience
  • Degree-level education or equivalent

  • Experience within large-scale digital transformation programmes
