Job Description:

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives on making enterprise systems hum? We are looking for a Business Application Support Officer to join our team and act as the bridge between our complex software solutions and the people who use them.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end maintenance of our enterprise software solutions
  • Support the introduction of new technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
  • Use your SQL skills to navigate relational databases and ensure our records and knowledge management systems are accurate and accessible
  • Leverage your high-level systems analyst skills to troubleshoot complex applications and provide clear, confident guidance to staff

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science OR at least 3 years of experience in a similar role focused on enterprise software maintenance
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience supporting enterprise software solutions
  • A solid understanding of relational databases and the ability to write/run MSSQL queries
  • Demonstrated experience as a systems analyst working on complex, multi-layered applications
  • High-level interpersonal skills
  • A flexible approach and the ability to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
  • A proactive drive to use office software and records management systems to their full potential

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SharePoint/SharePoint Online, SAP, Pathway, GIS, Library Management Systems, or Facility Management solutions
  • Familiarity with Power Platform and Azure Logic Apps
  • A background or interest in application development
