The Business Analyst serves as a critical liaison between clients, Product Owners, and delivery teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, documented, and translated into actionable Agile user stories. This role is responsible for gathering, curating, and validating requirements across technology (application development and data) and user experience domains. The Business Analyst ensures alignment between client needs and delivered solutions, acts as the final internal reviewer of all deliverables, and facilitates client acceptance. Candidates should possess proven experience in payment validation and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This individual is instrumental in driving project success and delivering value through precise requirements management and process optimization.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a critical liaison between clients, Product Owners, and delivery teams
Ensure business requirements are accurately captured, documented, and translated into actionable Agile user stories
Gather, curate, and validate requirements across technology (application development and data) and user experience domains
Ensure alignment between client needs and delivered solutions
Act as the final internal reviewer of all deliverables and facilitate client acceptance
Demonstrate independent, critical thinking and active listening to understand client requirements
Rapidly develop deep domain expertise for assigned projects and client programs
Independently elicit, analyze, document, and map requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
Author clear, concise, and testable business requirements in the form of Agile user stories
Produce supporting documentation such as process flows, wireframes, and use cases
Coordinate and synchronize user story workflow across User Experience, Creative, Application Development, and Quality Assurance teams
Lead and facilitate requirements review and approval processes with clients and internal teams
Identify and recommend improvements to requirements management tools, templates, and processes
Serve as an expert and advocate for OneMagnify’s Agile methodology and best practices
Create use cases and review test scenarios to ensure requirement-to-test case traceability
Act as subject matter expert for quality assurance activities, with a focus on payment validation and data accuracy
Support “train-the-trainer” initiatives and assist in developing training documentation
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide guidance to client testers, especially for payment validation scenarios
Lead requirements gathering sessions, client reviews, and user acceptance training or demonstrations
Participate in new business opportunity meetings, client presentations, and production support activities
Provide second-tier support for triaging customer inquiries and manage the documentation of user stories or defects identified post-implementation
Apply high attention to detail in all aspects of requirements gathering, documentation, and validation
Utilize advanced SQL skills to review and analyze data, supporting requirements validation and solution design
Ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Analyze large, complex datasets to derive actionable insights and support business decisions
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment with a proven track record of delivering complex client solutions
Demonstrated high proficiency with SQL writing to review and analyze data
Minimum 5 years’ experience with Agile development methodology
Proven experience in customer-facing, consultative roles within a professional technology consulting environment
Strategic thinker, adaptive, and self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a technology-related field
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting data or process issues
Nice to have:
Automotive industry experience
Experience with payment validation and payment processing
Experience with Oracle and Postgres in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
