Job Description:

The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The role involves partnering with technology and business organizations to implement solutions that support Equity Derivatives business operations.

Job Responsibility:

Problem definition & requirements gathering
Use case capture & documentation
Process & workflow documentation & re-engineering
Data analysis
Test case definition & testing co-ordination across multiple areas, products and regions in conjunction with QA counterparts
Project management including, but not limited to status reporting, milestone, risk and issue management
Clear, concise and accurate communication at all stages of a project
Adherence to internal Citi BA/PM & SDLC standards

Requirements:

Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst
Extensive knowledge of derivative products, preferably understanding of reference data required across Risk, Trade Management, Lifecycle & Corporate Actions
Strong analytical background particularly in relation to data analysis
Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle from inception to maturity, as well as key regulatory requirements
Previous experience in the full project lifecycle
Experience working with globally distributed development teams
Proven delivery track of complex global projects
Basic knowledge of data modelling
Ability to navigate a database and use SQL to extract data
Formal project management
Good working knowledge of Excel, Visio, JIRA & Confluence
