Business Analyst

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to discover, validate, and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements, creating detailed use cases and user stories
• Act as a critical liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure solution outcomes align with overarching architectural principles and strategies
• Analyse current workflows to identify inefficiencies and develop "as-is" and "to-be" process models (BPMN) that illustrate future-state improvements
• Leverage best-practice techniques, such as design and systems thinking, to lead stakeholder sessions and achieve project objectives
• Participate in testing and validating new systems while monitoring performance to report on realised benefits and further improvement areas

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Business Analyst, with a proven track record of managing requirements for high-impact initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualise complex initiatives and develop precise data, system, and process documentation (BPMN)
• Exceptional ability to write technical specifications, deliver executive presentations, and negotiate changing client expectations
• Experience working both independently and as part of a team to meet demanding deadlines and foster productive, outcomes-focused relationships

Experience in the Higher Education or Government sectors and knowledge of SaaS/COTS implementations or AI tools is highly desirable
