Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This position offers a contract with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term role based on performance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial analysis, process improvement, and software systems to effectively support organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Create and maintain reports such as KPI dashboards and trial balance summaries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps in processes, utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to improve business operations
  • Participate in month-end and annual close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Review and document business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Utilize Sage 300 and other accounting software to manage financial data efficiently
  • Investigate variances and prepare detailed explanations to support decision-making
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to optimize workflows
  • Support call center operations by analyzing customer service metrics and recommending enhancements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar financial role
  • Proficiency in Sage 300 and other accounting software systems
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in variance analysis, cash flow modeling, and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and process improvement practices
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and document findings effectively
  • Experience in month-end and annual financial close processes
  • Knowledge of key financial metrics, such as KPIs and trial balance analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
