We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a construction-focused organization in Wisconsin in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This hybrid role works closely with business and technology partners to define needs, improve processes, and support delivery within a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a structured approach to requirements analysis, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, project teams, and end users.
Job Responsibility
Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and end users to identify objectives, gather detailed requirements, and translate needs into clear documentation
Facilitate communication between stakeholders and delivery teams, serving as a central point of coordination throughout project and enhancement lifecycles
Create and maintain business analysis artifacts such as process maps, user stories, workflow documentation, gap analyses, and functional summaries
Support Agile delivery by participating in backlog refinement, sprint-related activities, and documentation updates using Jira and Confluence
Coordinate and assist with user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and capturing feedback for follow-up actions
Work collaboratively within a Business Technology team of analysts to align standards, share insights, and support enterprise-level initiatives
Use tools such as SharePoint and Smartsheet to organize project information, track progress, and maintain visibility across workstreams
Contribute to roadmap discussions, governance activities, and business process mapping efforts tied to operational and technology improvements
Requirements
7+ years of experience in business analysis within complex organizational environments
Proven ability to gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements while working with diverse stakeholder groups
Hands-on experience supporting Agile or Scrum-based teams and using Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation
Strong background in process analysis, gap assessment, and creation of business documentation that supports project delivery
Experience leading or supporting user testing activities, including test planning, issue tracking, and validation of business outcomes
Proficiency with collaboration and reporting tools such as SharePoint and Smartsheet
Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to act as a liaison across business and technical teams
Exposure to enterprise-scale initiatives, program governance, or IT project environments is strongly preferred
