Job Description:

This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to support critical business operations through analysis, reporting, and process improvement. You will work closely with senior analysts and IT teams to provide actionable insights and ensure smooth transactional workflows.

Job Responsibility:

Enter and manage trade data within organizational applications, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of end-of-day reports
Monitor daily risk measures, including Value at Risk, and verify positions to maintain compliance and operational efficiency
Reconcile broker and external statements related to transactions, ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly
Prepare and deliver daily profit and loss statements and pricing information for management review
Manage electronic fund sources and oversee clearing transactions to ensure seamless operations
Collaborate with IT teams to support the development and execution of the trade capture platform
Create ad-hoc reports using Power BI and Excel, automating processes with macros when necessary
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support special projects and decision-making processes
Design and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in reporting and analysis
Lead the development of validation plans and ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and macros
Familiarity with Power BI for report development and data visualization
Strong understanding of risk measures, pricing, and trade reconciliation processes
Experience with SQL and automation tools to enhance reporting capabilities
Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams and other stakeholders
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in quantitative and qualitative research
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Prior experience in business analysis or a related role is a plus
