Job Description:

Business Analyst to focus on data governance model including data quality checks, data remediation, data sourcing and data controls within Liquidity & Collateral Management.

Job Responsibility:

Ability to analyze data gaps between various front office source systems providing data for building liquidity models
Building of robust data quality and control processes to ensure project delivers uniform and good quality data
Holding requirement gathering sessions, gaining consensus and creation of meeting minutes
Translating business requirements into Business and Technical documents
Validation that the application meets the project specification and clients expectations
Providing detailed analysis and documentation of processes and flows where necessary
Ability to create Power Point presentations for senior management documenting the vision and current project status

Requirements:

5-10 yrs of overall IT/Finance experience
Strong ability to analyse complex workflows and datasets
Assessment and management of risks and issues
Experience in Liquidity & Collateral management or Regulatory Reporting will be a plus
Proven track record in business analysis, including gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications and test scenarios
Must have had experience working according to a project plan and delivering technology solutions
A sound understanding of the project life cycle - experience working on projects utilising Agile methodology would be advantageous
Ability to engage in technical interpretations would be beneficial, but not essential
Confident self-starter who can work under pressure, using their own initiative and with the drive to see tasks through to completion
Ability to work to aggressive deadlines
Excellent communicator and influencer, able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels from a range of departments, business areas and cultures
Desire to challenge existing processes and drive forward change
Initiative and ability to think laterally
Very strong attention to detail
Ability to make persuading presentations
Competent in Word & Excel

Nice to have:

Experience in Liquidity & Collateral management or Regulatory Reporting
Experience working on projects utilising Agile methodology
Ability to engage in technical interpretations
