Job Description

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders. Translate business requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications for the development team. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria. Create and maintain analysis artifacts, including Use Case Diagrams, Flowcharts / Business Process Flows, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Sequence Diagrams. Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to design feasible and scalable solutions. Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements. Work closely with developers and QA teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Support testing activities, including UAT preparation, requirement clarification, and defect validation. Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and Agile ceremonies when required. Manage requirement changes and ensure proper requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects
  • Proven experience working in Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, or FinTech projects
  • Strong experience in business requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design
  • Hands-on experience preparing BRD, SRS, Functional Specifications, and User Stories
  • Solid understanding of UML and business analysis methodologies
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and REST APIs is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
