Job Description

We are seeking a high-calibre Business Analyst to drive a critical workstream within our Global Legacy Transformation programme on behalf of a household-name, global luxury beauty and retail brand. You will be the architectural bridge between our international retail operations and IT, spearheading the implementation of a next-generation Point of Sale (POS) solution across our global estate.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead elicitation sessions with international stakeholders to capture nuanced requirements for a global POS rollout
  • Deliver high-quality artefacts, including Epics, User Stories, and detailed process maps (As-Is/To-Be)
  • Critically analyse existing retail workflows to identify efficiencies and ensure the new solution adds measurable value
  • Facilitate workshops that align diverse regional needs with a centralised global template
  • Partner with Solution Architects to ensure POS design integrates seamlessly with SAP back-end systems
  • Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the solution is fit for purpose across different territories

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within the retail sector, specifically on large-scale or global legacy migrations
  • Deep understanding of Point of Sale systems, store operations, and the customer journey
  • Strong familiarity with SAP environments and associated business processes
  • Proven proficiency in Agile methodologies and expert-level use of JIRA and Confluence for backlog management
  • Advanced skills in documenting complex As-Is and To-Be business processes and workflows
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders across different regions and time zones
  • A data-driven approach to problem-solving with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear business language
  • A track record of working effectively within cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, UX, and Operations)
