You won’t just be "processing trades." You will be the primary architect of resolution for our Repo desk. Your day-to-day involves navigating the intricacies of the Canadian Depository (CDS) and Triparty functionality to ensure seamless execution. When a trade hits a snag or a client has a complex query, you are the person who steps in with the solution.
Job Responsibility:
Resolution and escalation of matched and unmatched trades for Repo desk settling in the Canadian Depository
Timely response to client queries regarding the settlement of their trades
Liaising with other internal departments to ensure timely resolution of triparty settlements
Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives
Breaks investigation and resolution
Requirements:
Presentable, confident and client focused
Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with Clients in a confident manner
Excellent communications skills and ability to present to an audience
Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate
Previous experience within a client service team with particular focus on FICC settlements and Repo instructions
Knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money Protection and Funding
