We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong banking background to support end-to-end project delivery across our financial services portfolio. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working on mid- to large-scale banking projects, strong analytical abilities, and a track record of translating business needs into clear requirements that guide effective technology and process solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories
Conduct detailed gap analysis for system enhancements, process changes, and new product development
Translate complex business needs into concise functional and technical requirements
Work closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately
Support project planning, estimation, prioritization, and sprint planning in Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall environments
Participate in design reviews, solution validation, and UAT cycles
support defect triage and resolution
Serve as a primary liaison between business units and technical teams
Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder discussions
Prepare presentations, business cases, and documentation for key decision-makers
Contribute expertise in retail, corporate, or digital banking processes (e.g., payments, lending, cards, customer onboarding, compliance)
Support regulatory and compliance initiatives (e.g., AML/KYC, Basel, IFRS, risk & controls)
Provide insights on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial services
Perform data analysis, validation, and mapping for system integration or migration projects
Create process flows (AS-IS and TO-BE), use cases, and business models using standard modeling tools
Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field (Master’s is a plus)
5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services sector
Proven experience in delivering banking projects (e.g., digital transformation, core banking upgrades, payments modernization, compliance initiatives)
Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory environment
Proficiency in requirements documentation, process modeling (BPMN/UML), and user story writing
Experience working with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Figma, or similar
Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools (nice to have)
