We are seeking a Business Analyst to support and implement network and telephony hardware/software deployments for North America-based retail stores. This role will act as a key point of contact for store network and telephony activities, coordinating remote deployments while managing onsite technicians and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong networking knowledge, project coordination experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail IT environment. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for North American network and telephony store activities, including construction, deployments, and break-fix support
Coordinate proactively with construction and implementation teams to support store networking and telephony deployments
Configure network and telephony hardware across U.S. and Canada retail locations
Order and coordinate implementation of network and telephony circuits to meet project deadlines
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve networking and telephony-related issues
Address service-level escalations and escalate unresolved issues appropriately
Utilize available tools and resources to ensure timely issue resolution and project completion
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners across IT, store operations, construction, and corporate teams
Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery timelines
Coordinate warehouse shipping and receiving activities related to networking and telephony equipment
Manage vendor communications and drive issue resolution for escalated service concerns
Collaborate with vendors on network troubleshooting, escalations, and deployment activities
Maintain effective communication with multiple external vendors and service providers
Maintain inventory and reporting systems using Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, and related tools
Track project status, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
Provide leadership with weekly status updates and reporting for network-related projects and operational activities
Summarize complex project environments and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders
Support additional network and deployment-related initiatives as needed
Requirements:
4+ years of IT experience in infrastructure, networking, or technical support environments
2+ years of networking experience, including: Routers and Switches, LAN/WAN, IP networking, Zoom Telephony systems
Experience with: Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI and reporting tools
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in dynamic environments
Experience supporting remote deployments and coordinating with onsite teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
Growth mindset with willingness to learn retail-specific technical and operational processes
Nice to have:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred
Previous project management or project coordination experience preferred
Retail IT or field support experience, preferably within large retail environments
Experience supporting enterprise networking and telephony deployments across distributed locations
