Job Responsibility

Apply a business analysis framework for success
Document business process and workflow models (As-Is and To-Be)
Document use cases based on business process and workflow models
Effectively analyze information, problems, situations, practices or procedures
Elicit, document, manage and communicate functional and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Analyze business requirements and translate into business rules
Define and scope the business problem or opportunity and identify solution and/or alternative solutions
Verify that the solution meets the requirements and quantify the benefits and costs of each solution
Identify any risks, issues and assumptions with the solution and contribute to an effective control and risk management process
Work closely with technical teams to ensure their translation of requirements to solutions meet the needs of the users and integrates into the overall GOS architecture
Act as a liaison between technical teams and SME's

Requirements

Experience as a practicing Business Analyst supporting business transformation initiatives within a public sector or similarly regulated environment
Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into clear, testable business rules to support solution design, configuration, and decision-making on IT or digital initiatives
Experience defining and articulating business problems or opportunities, establishing clear business outcomes, and evaluating solution options to support decision-making on complex IT or digital initiatives
