We are looking for a detail-focused Business Analyst to support mail operations and help keep client projects organized, visible, and on schedule in Southgate, Michigan. This role connects clients with internal production teams by overseeing project flow, monitoring deadlines, and turning operational data into meaningful updates and recommendations. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a deadline-driven service environment.
Job Responsibility
Oversee mail-related projects from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring each stage is tracked accurately and completed according to committed timelines
Coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams to confirm receipt of required materials, including data files, mailing content, and supporting assets needed for production
Monitor project schedules, production checkpoints, and service expectations to identify risks early and help keep work on pace
Maintain organized tracking tools and project records to support accurate visibility across active mailing initiatives
Review operational data such as volume trends, turnaround times, and workflow performance to uncover issues and support better planning
Prepare reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that communicate project status, delivery performance, and other key operational metrics to stakeholders
Provide timely updates to clients and internal partners regarding milestones, dependencies, potential delays, and completed work
Recommend process improvements that strengthen tracking, reporting, documentation, and workflow efficiency, including support for automation or system enhancements when appropriate
Document procedures and maintain current standard operating guidelines to promote consistency across mail operations
Requirements
Experience in business analysis, operations support, or project coordination within a fast-paced service environment
Strong ability to organize detailed information, manage deadlines, and track multiple projects at the same time
Proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and data analysis used to monitor performance and support decision-making
Ability to create clear client-facing reports and translate complex operational information into practical insights
Comfortable working across teams such as operations, IT, production, customer support, and related business functions
Knowledge of process improvement methods, including identifying gaps, refining workflows, and supporting more efficient ways of working
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to participate professionally in stakeholder meetings and status discussions
