Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Southern California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in analyzing business operations and facilitating digital transformation projects for the automotive industry. The position requires strong collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders and a solid ability to manage project deliverables and system enhancements following Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct detailed system and business analysis to support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops, including data analysis sessions and workflow evaluations, to gather and refine business requirements
  • Develop and prioritize comprehensive backlogs by validating complex business needs and translating them into actionable plans
  • Coordinate and lead stakeholder meetings, including scheduling, documenting minutes, and ensuring follow-ups
  • Support production systems by troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary updates
  • Design and execute test cases for complex batch and online processes, ensuring system functionality and reliability
  • Prepare communication materials such as presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for process automation and improvement
  • Assist project managers with planning tools and, occasionally, take ownership of smaller project plans
  • Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the cost, efficiency, and technical viability of proposed solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with gathering, refining, and prioritizing complex business requirements
  • Proficiency in creating business cases and conducting impact analyses to recommend solutions
  • Ability to present and defend strategic decisions and business processes effectively
  • Knowledge of compliance, governance structures, and audit requirements
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to facilitate agreements between business units and IT
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project management
  • Competence in preparing and delivering presentations suitable for a variety of stakeholders
