As a Business Analyst (GTM/Marketing), you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting sales and marketing data to generate valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our marketing & GTM team as well as other cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization of GTM strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth
Design, build, and maintain centralized dashboards and reports covering key marketing metrics: funnel velocity, conversion rates, and campaign ROI
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to uncover optimization opportunities in audience targeting, channel performance, and A/B test results
Collaborate to develop simple attribution models and assist in forecasting (marketing-generated) pipeline based on historical trends and budget scenarios
Assist in maintaining data accuracy and integrity within CRM and other sales analytics tools
Work with internal data teams to enhance data accessibility and usability for sales operations
Utilize statistical and analytical techniques to uncover insights that support strategic sales decisions
Assist in evaluating and optimizing sales processes through data-driven analysis
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in data analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or a related analytical role
A degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, MIS, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights
Expert proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data extraction, and manipulation from and in data warehouse
Advanced skills in building reports, scorecards, and compelling dashboards using Preset or similar BI tool
Deep understanding of the marketing and sales funnel, including key metrics like CPL, CAC, Attribution, and Velocity. Preferably in SaaS business
Ability to apply basic statistical methods to campaign testing and forecasting
Knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce.com (experience is a plus)
A detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for data-driven decision-making
