Job Responsibility

Taking overall responsibility for eliciting, understanding and translating requirements and mapping them to Microsoft Business Application technologies
Rapid prototyping client requirements
Driving the business towards early design decisions through entity modelling
Assisting customers in mapping high level business requirements to low level functional requirements and in identifying issues and opportunities for improvement
Challenging assumptions
Identifying risk and providing solutions
Influencing stake holders both internally and with clients
Ensuring requirements demonstrate business value
Performing ‘Fit Gap’ analysis as part of process design exercises
Mapping ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes
Playing a part in solution envisioning
Playing a part in the presales process
Working with Solution and Enterprise Architects, Business owners, and Business Analyst Teams to understand fully our customers requirements and document accordingly
Leading client workshops to scope and define projects
Prioritise and execute tasks for each project
Modelling, POC’s and both lo-fi and hi-fi wire frames
Leading User first training programmes, designed by you
Liaising with client business owners, business analysts and development teams to confirm requirements in the context of the platform, software or tools chosen to deliver
Managing the end-to-end requirements management process in Azure DevOps
Playing a part in test cycles to support the QA testers and business users when resolving issues and bugs
Ensure requirements traceability at each stage
Managing and measure solution benefits mapped to business cases
Ensuring systems and changes are smoothly transitioned into operation including, supporting documentation and required user training
Managing the scope of your work - knowing how to control scope creep

Requirements

Demonstrable Business Analysis experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication skills
Results focused
Understanding of different approaches for eliciting requirements in both waterfall and agile projects
Experience working within a consultancy or people services organization delivering Microsoft business applications projects
Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Knowledge of how to prepare for and conduct requirements workshops and collaborative prototyping sessions
Knowledge of no-code / low-code tools such as configurable CRM systems, Power Apps, Dynamics 365 or similar tooling
Ability to take a stand yet commit to deliver even when disagreeing

Nice to have

Experience delivering Microsoft Business Applications projects
Experience with Microsoft Business Application technologies
Experience with low-code / no-code Microsoft technologies
Experience configuring real working proof of concepts as well as traditional wireframes and visualisations
