Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to process improvements, product development, and stakeholder engagement within the banking industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and prioritize them effectively in the product backlog
  • Conduct thorough reviews of business processes, identifying areas for optimization and resolving stakeholder conflicts
  • Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards before release
  • Partner with the development team to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations for new features
  • Assist stakeholders with user testing, gather feedback, and address any issues prior to production release
  • Analyze support tickets or customer feedback to identify recurring issues and propose solutions
  • Continuously refine and plan Product Backlog Items (PBIs) to align with future development cycles
  • Lead educational efforts, such as tutorials and presentations, to inform users about significant application updates
  • Provide backup support for operational tasks when necessary, ensuring seamless continuity of services

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the banking industry
  • Proficiency with tools such as Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and business process functions
  • Experience conducting gap analyses and creating detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and claim administration processes
  • Ability to perform A/B testing and analyze results to inform decision-making
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex stakeholder needs
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement
